Elite Pickleball. Real Rivalries. No Slow Points.
El Paso is about to feel the heat.
The Ultimate Pickleball League (UPL) Semi-Pro Circuit is rolling into West Texas with the UPL Sun City Shootout, taking over the desert February 21–22. Featuring 14 teams and counting, this Semi-Pro Circuit stop delivers nonstop rallies, elite-level athletes, and the fastest pickleball format in the country — all under the Sun City sky.
This is not a local tournament.
The Sun City Shootout is an official UPL Semi-Pro Circuit event, showcasing top semi-pro talent competing for team pride, circuit momentum, and emerging regional rivalries. Matches move fast, energy stays high, and there’s no time to look away — from first serve to match point, the action doesn’t stop.
UPL’s Semi-Pro Circuit is built for speed and spectators. Shorter breaks, rapid rotations, and continuous play create a fan-first experience that feels more like a live sporting event than a traditional tournament. In a city known for passion and grit, El Paso is set to become the perfect stage.
“El Paso embodies everything the Semi-Pro Circuit represents — intensity, competitiveness, and community,” said league leadership. “The Sun City Shootout puts El Paso on the national UPL map.”
Fans can expect:
- 14+ Semi-Pro Circuit teams from across the region
- High-speed matches with minimal downtime
- Elite semi-pro athletes and real rivalries
- A loud, high-energy, fan-driven atmosphere
The UPL Semi-Pro Circuit logo will be featured throughout the event, officially marking El Paso as a key stop on the growing national circuit.
This February, pickleball doesn’t slow down — it levels up.
El Paso, the countdown is on.
